In upstream operations and power refineries, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating pumps, and gas turbines play a critical role in managing fluid movement within exploration and processing systems. Power plants utilize steam turbines, gas turbines, and reciprocating engines as primary rotating equipment to transform thermal energy into mechanical power. Large marine propulsion systems, including fixed pitch and controllable pitch propellers driven by marine diesel engines, generate the thrust required for vessel movement. Supporting systems such as pumps, compressors, and turbines deliver essential auxiliary functions. To perform effectively in open water conditions, this machinery must over high reliability, strong corrosion resistance, and optimized fuel effciency.
Aircraft propulsion is fundamentally driven by rotating machinery, particularly jet engines equipped with axial compressors and turbines. These systems compress incoming air, mix it with fuel, and ignite the mixture to generate thrust. In rotorcraft, specialized rotors are used to provide lift and control maneuverability, engineered to achieve optimal thrust to weight ratios and fuel efficiency.
